After a small break, it's back into the Iron Warriors. 1st tray of the 3rd box - Dreadclaw formations and Obliterators (made by Mark_Logue). Close-up on the Obliterators.

If so, I'm so there! Seriously though - that army is just spectacular... Do you need a panaramic lens to take an army shot?!? I'd hate to think of the figure count... More power to you onyx...

Please tell me that is all armies combined, not just the Chaos. I remember putting together my 10K Imperial army for a game and it was huge.

I wouldn't be suprised if it's just the Iron Warriors that make 100K, this is a HUGE army! More Predators finished.

Please tell me that is all armies combined, not just the Chaos. I remember putting together my 10K Imperial army for a game and it was huge. No that would be Iron Warriors with Legio Mortis Titans at around the 100k mark. I started working out a couple of things the other day on army builder and had to stop. I was at around the 10k mark with only the first battalion and some command stuff. It is quite a large animal and I have been growing it in the ebay vat for quite some time. It is based on the old Marine Regimental structure, with a Regimental HQ, support formations directly below that and then a number of battalions within the regiment. Being chaos undivided I am using a rule of eight. And in keeping with modern warfare it is an army of twos at the least. So their is a Chosen Bn, a Drop Bn, two Assault Bn, two Siege Bn and two Specialist Bn. Each has a transport pool to choose from and each has a number of support formations. So a Bn then has three companies, each is made up of a number of retinues and upgrades. So as an example, an Assault Bn consist of a Command Retinue, with three support formations, say, one armoured foramtion, one assault formation (6 x Vindicators) and an Artillery formation (6-8 Basilisks). Then below that is three companies with two retinues, plus havocs and a third retinue of havocs (Lord plus six stands). Each retinue may have upgades of vindicators and the Bn will have a transport pool with Rhinos in it. Siege are similar although without the armoured formations. Their firepower is generated by defilers, dreadnaughts and obliterators. And the Drop Bn has a Chosen company and two Chaos Marine Companies supported in a similar way, all moutted in Dreadclaws. The Chosen Bn has a mix or armoured, teleport and drop units. All uo I think there is thirteen Chosen retinues. Dont ask how many CSM retinues there are. So yeah with the Titans attached it is going to be around the 100k mark, more than likely over that with Navy and aircraft. Steve, again awsome work on the Preds, always great to see your work, even better up close. Your level of detail is amazing, we are so going to have to get together as brothers from the east and west coast and have a bash to celebrate at the completion of this army. Cheers Aaron
