Points done.
That would have been a really interesting game guys, lots of big hits and serious damage being thrown around. Any pics?

Nothing too detailed, unfortunately. Setting up. End of the 1st turn. Game over man! There was some of the most rediculous dice shaking you could ever see during this game which did play a big part in the outcome. First time I'd used my Warlord and Ordinatus..... ;D

Legio Turba Dominus fell to the might of Legio Victoriums Titans, with the zap of the ordinatus signaling the end of thousands of years of service to the Emperors for both the mighty God Machines and their knight protectors alike.
I found a severe flaw in my taking of units of three 1DC knights, that being that 3 is almost the worst number in the game of EA. Shoot one dead, two blast markers, unit broken. The knights proved to be too fragile and spent much of the game broken. After my Reaver exploded from a damaged plasma drive on turn 1 or 2 I knew that I was in trouble (what with a Warlord and Ordinatus facing off against my Warhounds).
Luckily I have had the luck of aquiring 3 more of each type of knight so I can take them in units of 6. Although this means I will have a dangerously low number of activations I figure that one formation that does stuff in three turns of the game is better than two that break on turn 1.
Leman Russ formations proved to be tough opponents to the Warhounds and knights at range with the unfortunate drawback that they got stomped in an Assault.
I am sure the knights would have been able to do all sorts of nasty things if I could catch a titan with a crossfire, retain, assault with two units in range combo but I just couldn't pull anything off (being busily hiding my units behind terrain with little yellow broken markers next to them).

Wow - that's something tank commanders don't normally have to worry about... Got to love that image though. Looks like it was a rather brutal affair.
