Great idea getting an Aussie Epic Campaign up and running and I like how it's being kept simple. Will be a great way to get a few more people involved in the 6mm game. Just a few issues: - Are you sure theres enough people in every state to support the different regions? I know over here in WA we're covered but I'm not sure about the rest of the country. By my count their's roughly 10 - 12 people with Epic armies, many with multiple. True some are MIA at the moment but that will change. ;D Maybe another option with the hex system is divide the continent in half and have a 'front line' so to speak. Once a a side scores say 20 Victory Points then they capture that hex. Just a rough idea. - Most of us over here have multiple armies, some good and some evil by your posted good/bad/ugly list. We also like to use different armies rather than just the one for a long time. Maybe declare which side you're fighting for and it doesn't matter what army you have? - Many of us epic players also play BFG (and 40k of course), any way to intergrate them at a later date? Hoping this gets off the ground.

Just a few issues: - Are you sure theres enough people in every state to support the different regions? I know over here in WA we're covered but I'm not sure about the rest of the country. By my count their's roughly 10 - 12 people with Epic armies, many with multiple. True some are MIA at the moment but that will change. ;D Firstly, thanks for the response, I'm hoping to get as much feedback about the site as I can, that way it can be adjusted to suit the campaign and the players. The idea for the campaign came from not being able to get to the WA's Epic Assault Tourney, but still wanting to show support for the day. I spoke to Mark about the campaign idea (as well as with the group over here) and there seemed to be a common interest in it. I'm definitely not sure at all ATM as to whether there are players in most states, I only know of NSW, WA and maybe Victoria. But my thinking was that this way if there were people in these other states that did play then maybe it would be best to start with all the capital cities (even if its only 2 players in a certain area). Ive posted the invite on the Specialist forums as well, inviting other Aussies that play and may not use WGAU to join up, so others may come out of the wood work... I guess if these areas don't end up with players then we'll either destroy them in some radical Multi-nuclear attack OR they'll get assimilated into other areas (don't know yet...). Maybe another option with the hex system is divide the continent in half and have a 'front line' so to speak. Once a a side scores say 20 Victory Points then they capture that hex. Just a rough idea. The Hex map is just the first idea for the map that Pancreasboy and I had, the hexes were going to disappear but we sorta haven't got to that yet... I'm talking with some people about ideas about how to make the map look better and its currently under discussion (I'm not too sure how and what will happen ) so we'll just have to wait and see... - Most of us over here have multiple armies, some good and some evil by your posted good/bad/ugly list. We also like to use different armies rather than just the one for a long time. Maybe declare which side you're fighting for and it doesn't matter what army you have? Yep thats the idea, theres no real need to say that you are going to stick to just one army. All you really need to do is say which area your apart (this shouldn't change unless you move interstate often) of and these point go towards that area. - Many of us epic players also play BFG (and 40k of course), any way to integrate them at a later date? The long term plan is of that to happen, Mark and I spoke about this when discussions first began about the idea. ATM over here Im supplying all the armies and the scenery so Ive focused just on Epic (moneys too tight to mention... ;D). I'm wanting to make sure that this goes well before it gets expanded into anything else. Hoping this gets off the ground. I am too, its a good way for us Aussie players to get some real support for the game over here in Australia. Thanks once again for the ideas
