The Planet Terra Oss-tral was once known for its rich mining and natural resources, for its Tall and sturdy fighting men and for its passion for the expansion of the Empire, and the legends of the mighty Ossaks Imperial Guard fighting force appeared briefly in the Historicanum Imperilus, and of their great fight and disaster at Galepol.
The Planet contained one large continent also known by the planet name, with 8 Mega-cities:
The inhabitants of Terra Oss-tral had called for help from the Emperor as the Imperium fell under the crushing might of the forces of Chaos, but then in the aftermath of the early Post Heresy period, as the crippled empire lay in ruin, the planet was lost to the Imperium , for a great warp storm opened close to the planet and all communication with the planet.
The planet was so near to the warp storm and was believed to be lost to all but the chaos that would be surrounding it, it was removed from the travel courses of the Imperium, and the Imperial fleets steered far and wide trying to put out fires within the Empire
It was believed that the people of Terra Oss-tral were destroyed by the storms and so no attempt to make contact was made with them, and so thousands of years passed and the planet slipped into the past history of the Imperium.
The storm finally disapeared
The Imperial destroyer, The Endeavour, stumbled onto the outer Markers of the system and was alerted by the distress beacons that had been running throughout the many millenia that the storms had hidden the planet.
The Planet contained one large continent also known by the planet name, with 8 Mega-cities:
- Cyden, The largest of the 8 cities and containing the largest population, with much of the planets industrial production done here
- Bourne, The second largest city was also well known for its Industrial power and might. It was well known for its Light riders Cavalry Infantry forces in the Horus Heresy campaigns.
- Hobbs, The smallest of the cities, based on the smaller Island just south of the mainland.
- Aedel, The main Primary producing city of all the cities on the planet, though smaller than some of the other cities it sees more of the planets food resources come through its ports.
- Petra, The largest amount of the planets mineral resources are found here with much of the Ore mining done here.
- Dawn, This area is also home to much of the wealth of the planet and was only just beginning to open up as the planet disapeared
- Bane, Much like the city of Aedel, this city supplies much of the food stores of the planets requirements
- Caen, The political nerve centre of the planet, it is the only non- water area, being completely surrounded by the other city areas.
