Haha...
Thats the whole thing. Once you do look at it, you have to buy it! I love the way the army looks (even before painting).

You can do a Tau army in 6mm for less than like 600 million dollars just use Andrahydra Scouts from Dark Realm Miniatures to proxy all the infantry, FW tanks aren't that bad cost wise. (though I never want to look at the FW site again in general so I don't remember how much the Tau cost me - why did I have to go and get the infantry before I found the perfect proxy).

Hey mark, would you be interested in putting some prices up here when I get the BS&S up and running, Ive been looking at this stuff for a while and it might be a good idea to show people the prices.

In the best Kahmal voice one can muster... "Why is life so unkind?" There are some threads, no matter how tempting to read, you just know are going to cause you pain - onyx, you've done it to me again... With figures that spectacular - you could just leave them undercoated... Seriously though, they do look $1M & can I make one other suggestion. When you deploy them, you MUST start singing "Ooooohh, Barracuda". Can't wait to see the XV's & the other infantry... *drool* ;D

I do have to say though, once these are done, I'll be very happy to never work with FW resin again. For the amount they charge there is too much work to do to the minis to get them ready for paint - Washing, cleaning off excess flash and too fragile. Everytime I pick up a Broadside mini I'm terrified of breaking the guns... These really should be plastic. This is the reason that I gave up on the Grey knight army, I'd love to own them but I dont want to pay for an army that breaks. But I must say that this is a VERY nice looking army, can I borrow it for a while... ;D

More Tau = more wow! Love the group shot of the Hammerhead's & especially the objective markers...amazing job. Can't believe the colour scheme looks so different in the other piccies with the stronger light source.

I've finally finished the Tau . Firewarrior Cadres. Gun Drones (had to put ruins on the bases to pick them up with.. So fragile! Heavy Drones (DRM Hubries) Alien Auxilliaries - Kroot Kindred (DRM Kraytonian proxies) & Gue'Vesa (DRM Jungle Troops). I bought all the DRM proxies from Mark_Logue (Aussie Distributer). I've got some more Stingrays and Drone Sentry Turrets coming for Christmas but that should be the end of the most expensive army I've ever painted!

onyx - that is by far the most awesome reason I've seen to collect a Tau force whenever I get a chance to do so for Epic... That's one impressive army! Can't believe that the Orca is so big, I thought the Barracuda's were much bigger by far... Enjoy battling for the Greater Good.

I've managed to get my Tau ScorpionFish proxies painted (they're from CAV). They're a bit small (the same size as the older style SG Baneblades - both 3DC) but we take that into account when playing, so it's all good.
