I've taken a very small break from the Iron Warriors and finally got round to experimenting with proxies for Chaos Titans. I've used a Warmachine Seether as a Banelord. The tail is actually a zip (which I tore off a jumper the other day) thats held in shape by superglue. The Tail weapon is a Twin Lascannon from an old plastic Land Raider. The Havoc Missile Launcher is a rocket pod from a Marauder bomber. The Hellstrike Cannon is a Volcano Cannon from a Warlord Titan (with the Imperial emblem removed and mounted on the other arm to help disguise it). The chain was brought from a local craft store (Spotlight) and the banners were downloaded from Bell of lost Souls (and then resized for Epic rather than 40K). Age old enemies face off! I actually have a whole box full of Warmachine goodies to use as my Chaos Titan Legion but they will have to wait until I've finished some of the Iron Warriors.

Wait until Pb get a look at this - he'll be mightily impressed! He's a massive Cryx fan, could be a Chaos army in the making for him...possibly. Figure looks amazing - love the scorpion tail... Great scale match too. Just awesome, just onyx...

Thats awesome, a really great idea for titans! Cool paint job too.
Snap, now if you use your Kador you could have 5 Warlords per game!

Thanks guys . With the 1st box of Iron Warriors finished I've had a little play with another Chaos Titan - this time a Ravager made from a Cryx Reaper. Just noticed that I need to finish off the chains propery.. D'oh!The guns are made using DRM parts and fitted with GW Chaos accessories. The tail is a zip again.

Sweet motherless goats!!! There's some good conversions there, and they suit the scale well!!!! Pity it's for an inferior game! Duck for cover

Note to all other gamers on this site, Pancreas boy has been deleted for being a smart-ass and if anyone wants his address I can send it to you, just so you know where to send the bombs!

Pst (whispering) I'm still here, now I can infiltrate the site and bring it down from the inside!!!
Ooops I hope I didn't write that out aloud.
But serious, excellent idea there for Chaos.

Managed to finish another Chaos War Engine. I'll be using these as proxies for Brass Scorpions.

Whilst I'm waiting for another box of Iron Warriors to turn up I've been playing with my own Epic Chaos army. Having just about finished reading Storm of Iron, and having acquired an Imperator in a recent trade with dabigboss, I couldn't resist having a go at Dies Irae. Details of the legs and base. The beasties tail and wrecking ball. Note 2 plastic Warlord Titan heads hanging as trophies... ;D

As always onyx - seriously impressive... From the blending/highlights/weathering to the Chaos additions to the Titan. *applause* Just make sure it doesn't get shipped with CAL001's stuff!

That is so so seriously cool.
We definitely need to organize some crazy East vs West weekender megga battle some time when everyone has some cash and time. Just imagine hiring out an apartment some time then setting up some giant battle for an entire weekend catchup.
Possibly an expensive idea I know. But would be awesome never the less.

That sounds like a Lotto win dream for me... The whole lot so far. The Feral titans.
